ALL Henderson Middle School students are invited to enter our Poster Contest by creating a poster that advertises the Henderson Foundation’s MARCH MADNESS Fundraiser that takes place from March 6-24, 2017.

The Henderson Foundation funds meaningful cutting-edge educational resources for our students in addition to obtaining resources to pursue STEM accreditation. Funds will also be used to purchases needed equipment/supplies for Henderson Middle School’s New Wing slated to open in August 2017.

PRIZES:

• First Prize - $50 gift card
• Second Prize - $30 gift card
• Third Prize - $15 gift card

DEADLINE: Posters must be submitted to the HMS Attendance Office by February 28, 2017.

WINNERS WILL BE ANNOUNCED: March 1, 2017

The following information must be included on the back of the poster: Student First and Last Name, Grade, and Homeroom Teacher’s Name.

Each poster must be the work of one student. No group submissions allowed.

Please do not include glass, tacks, staples or any other breakable or sharp objects with your entry.

Posters will be judged on overall impact, effectiveness in conveying the theme, originality and artistic merit. Judges’ decisions are final.
