The Henderson Middle School CougarBots competed in the First Lego League Robotics Super Regional Tournament this past Saturday at Clarkston High School. The Cougarbots were one of 32 teams from across the Atlanta area to compete in this tournament. Team members include: Vikram Sehgal, Ashley Romero, Jacqueline Romero, Candler Evans, Sabir Young and Alexia Graves. CougarBots were awarded a trophy for robot design. This award recognizes a team that uses solid engineering practices and a well-developed strategy to design and build an innovative, high performing robot. One that is efficient and durable. The CougarBots are anxiously awaiting to hear if they qualified for the State Championships at Georgia Tech.
